Cronan spent five years in the Trinity Centre for High Performance Computing (TCHPC) developing the science and technology that underpins Creme.
With a background in Physics and commercial experience in Financial Risk Analysis with Merrill Lynch Capital Markets Bank, Cronan has adapted the methods and technologies for financial risk analysis to the food, cosmetics and environmental safety sector.
In his spare time Cronan enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his young family.

Prof. Gibney, M. Agr. Sc., Ph. D., is the former President of the Nutrition Society and is now in charge of the Human Nutrition Unit at University College Dublin. He served on the EU Scientific Committee for Food from 1985 to 1997 and then chaired the BSE working group as a member of the Scientific Steering Committee of the EU from 1997 to 2000.
Prof. Gibney's research interests lie in metabolic and molecular nutrition, in public health nutrition and in probabilistic risk analysis. He is presently the coordinator of a major EU funded research project on the metabolic syndrome, Lipgene.
