Default Publicly available food consumption data sets

Hi,

I am compiling a list of publicly available food consumption data sets to have the full set of available data pre-installed in CREMe 2.0 for use by everybody.

The USA has the NHANES, the CSFII data and the related CSFID data sets.

The UK has the NDNS data.

Are there any other data sets that are freely available that we should add to our set of pre-installed data?

Best Regards,

Cronan

Default Public database

Cronan,

This database is not for food, but rather for environmental chemical assessment. Maybe you should start another thread for ALL databases for exposure assessment?

The one I found is supported by the US Environmental Protection Agency, the US Department of Agriculture, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the Consortium for Research on Renewable Industrial Materials and the American Plastics Council.

If you want to check out the lifecycle database yourself, please go to:

Default Chinese consumption data

Also the data from the China Health and Nutrition Survey (CHNS) are public available (www.cpc.unc.edu/projects/china). Why don't you include them into Creme?

Default Chinese Data

Hi Davide,

Done, we now have the Chinese data set formatted and installed in CREMe. If any CREMe users want to access it, please let me know and I make the data accessible in your account.

Thanks,

Cronan
