Greetings,

I am writing to confirm the details of the Creme meeting on Thursday & Friday the 18th & 19th of September 2008 in Dublin. The meeting is definitely going ahead and we have some great talks lined up!

The meeting will be a combination of a user group meeting for Creme users and an introduction to Creme for people who are new to Creme.

If you would like to learn more about Creme and what groups are using it for - book your place now by simply sending me an email. Places are filling up - so please book as soon as possible to avoid missing out.

The meeting is free to attend and will be held in the historical setting of Trinity College in Dublin. The meeting will run from 9.30 am on Thursday the 18th September until 1pm on Friday the 19th.

Meeting dates: 9.30 am - 5pm on Thursday the 18th
and 9.30 am - 1pm on Friday the 19th September.

Location: Trinity College, Dublin (city centre), Ireland.

Attendance Cost: Free!

Recommended Hotel: Trinity Capital Hotel, Pearse Street, Dublin 2.

Note: any other hotel in the Dublin 2 area would also be convenient.

Talks will be around 30 minutes and there will be time for discussion and questions after each. I will circulate titles and more details of each talk shortly.

We will also run some facilitated discussions to foster collaboration within the user group and to discuss in more detail how each group is using Creme, how it helps them to get the results they need and to discuss future requirements for features and future development.

We will also run some technical training sessions and an introduction to the new Creme 3 Food tool!

Full titles of talks and agenda for the meeting will be provided shortly. We look forward to seeing you all in Dublin!

We have expanded CRN to open it up to more people in order to generate more collaboration and discussion. It is no longer required to register in order to read comments but to post comments you need to be registered and logged in.

There are a number of new items of interest in the online Creme Research Network (CRN) including a new section which aggregates global food safety news.
