Eimear will provide advice on nutrition and food science to Creme clients. Eimear will also be working on consultancy projects and on developing new nutrition features and data for the Creme Food and Nutrition applications. Eimear will also be posting updates to this blog.
Eimear graduated with first class honours degree, BSc (Hons), in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from DIT and Trinity College in 2008.
Eimear won the European Federation of the Association of Dietitians Student Dietitian of the Year Award in 2009 for her thesis carried out in the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. This was a dietary assessment of Type 1 Diabetics. Eimear has also worked as a nutrition intern with the Boyne Research Institute in 2007.
Before joining Creme, Eimear worked as a dietitian in Beaumont Hospital Dublin for almost two years. There she gained experience in nephrology, kidney transplant, neurosurgery and cardiology among other specialities.
