The Opportunity
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Software Engineer to join our team.
This role will involve building and maintaining excellence across our range of cloud-based data modelling software products and projects, from internal software testing to client-issue troubleshooting.Â
This is a chance to help define the direction of automated testing within a progressive company, working with cutting-edge test automation tools and fostering development skills on a brand-new platform using modern web technologies.
This role will also work with our Product Owners to perform our customer support function.Â
Key Responsibilities
- Developing automated end-to-end tests in a test-driven development environment, primarily through the use of Selenium and Playwright
- Analyse and estimate Functional Enhancements and Change Requests
- Maintenance of test plans, test scripts and test processes
- Testing Cycles: Integration, System, Regression and UAT Testing
- Expand the acceptance testing scenarios as new features are added to the software
- Bug Detection, Tracking and Resolution
- Prioritisation of Software issues
- Communication with colleagues and management on the resolution of issues
- Act as a gatekeeper for customer support requests, triage, review, investigate, and allocate support queries to the right team.
- Good troubleshooting skills to identify the issues and to write clear steps to reproduce.
- Understand all functionality of the Creme Global platform and ensure customers receive the answers they need within the specified SLA
- Contribute to the knowledge base
- Work as a member of the Software team reporting to the Head of Software & Data Engineering
Profile Requirements
Â
- Python experience – recent graduate with good Python skills
OR
- 1-2 years of working experience in the Software Industry as a QA or Software engineer (preferably working with Python)
- Understanding of an Agile software development environment
- Ability to learn quickly and apply AI-based tools in practice.Â
- Degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline

The following, while not essential, are highly desirable:
- Ability to generate test code using AI Playwright Automation Framework and to integrate it within our platform regression suite
- Experience using software development & test management tools (JIRA)
- Experience working with Jenkins and Git
- Good aptitude and interest in mathematics and statistics

- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to interpret technical, scientific and business requirements effectively.
