The Challenge
From isolated efforts to industry wide intelligence
The fresh produce industry is operating in an increasingly complex landscape, one where food safety is paramount yet is under increasing pressure. Growers collect a lot of data but a lot of its value remains untapped. Without a secure and efficient way to analyze, compare, and share insights, the industry might find it hard to identify emerging risks, optimize best practices, and strengthen preventive measures.
Existing approaches to data driven food safety management often operate in narrow silos. This is limiting the ability to quickly spot trends or anticipate risks before they become widespread issues. To truly and rapidly enhance food safety outcomes, the industry needs a much more connected approach. They need to transform individual data points into actionable, collective intelligence.

The Solution
Going beyond reactive compliance towards proactive food safety
To address this challenge, Creme Global worked closely with WGA on development of the GreenLink™ platform. A number of workshops were conducted with all stakeholders to deeply understand the challenges in this project and to deliver a secure, cloud-based food safety data-sharing platform designed specifically for the fresh produce industry.
GreenLink™ platform empowers growers by allowing them to analyze their own food safety data while also anonymously benchmarking their performance against aggregated industry data. This gives them real and actionable insights, helping them proactively manage food safety risks, anticipate potential hazards, and refine their strategies based on real-world trends.
GreenLink™ platform is more than just a data-sharing tool. It represents a cultural shift in the fresh produce industry. By fostering transparency and collaboration, it transforms data into a strategic asset—helping the industry move beyond reactive compliance and toward proactive, predictive food safety management for the benefit of all.
