About Speakers

Neil Burns
CEO, Co-Founder of P2 Science

Neil Burns is the CEO of P2 Science, Inc. a renewable chemistry company spun out of Yale University and the former CEO of Oxiteno USA. Earlier he was VP Operations and the senior US executive for VVF Ltd, an Indian oleochemical and consumer goods company. Mr. Burns participated as an investor / manager in the leveraged buyout of the $100 Million specialty chemical company, Pilot Chemical, where he was VP marketing and a board director. He co-produces with Reed Business Information, a series of conferences on the business of surfactants.


Dr John O’Brien
Head of Data Modelling and Statistics Creme Global

John O’Brien’s background is in molecular biology, which he studied at Dublin City University. After completing his doctoral thesis, Dr. O’Brien spent time in the Technische Universität München and then in the Max-Planck-Institut für molekulare Genetik, Berlin, working on developing high-throughput, automated methods for cloning, mapping and fingerprinting DNA. He joined Creme Global in 2016 where he is now the leader of the Data Modelling and Statistics group.
